It is with deep humility, gratitude, and commitment that I present the PETROLLAND Sustainable Development & Host Community Partnership Framework 2026–2035.
This landmark initiative represents a new era of meaningful partnership, shared responsibility, and mutual prosperity between PETROLLAND OIL AND GAS OPU AKAHA LIMITED and the communities it serves across the Niger Delta region.
For decades, host communities in Nigeria’s oil‑producing regions have borne the environmental, social, and infrastructural impacts of energy production. Yet, the full promise of equitable development — of transformed communities with healthy citizens, enabled children, empowered youth, thriving families, and sustainable local economies — has often remained unrealized. It is both our collective responsibility and moral imperative to change this narrative.
